Stop being a ‘Ramadani’ Muslim, instead become a ‘Rabbani’!
Do not stop doing good deeds even after Ramadan. Don’t be just a ‘Ramadani’ Muslim, instead become a Rabbani! Please keep up the good work even after it. We should remain good Muslims our entire lives, not just during the blessed month!
One’s entire life is insufficient to count the innumerable blessings of the Almighty Allah. So, utilize the time remaining in your life usefully.
Make up for your Qada (Missed) Fasts of Ramadan
If you have missed any fasts, first finish them.
Fast the Six Days of Shawwal
Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
These six fasts of Shawwal need not be consecutive, you can take breaks in between them.
Not just the above things, one should not stop doing the five obligatory prayers in congregations in the Mosques/Masjids. Let the habits formed during the holy month be like the beacons guiding us in the other eleven months of the year too. And remember, after Eid-ul-Fitr, a bigger Eid is coming soon, Eid-ul-Adha!
Please save your religious enthusiasm throughout your life. And never stop doing good deeds ever! PERIOD
I know all this is easier said than done. But with proper steps, this is certainly implementable.
- Always keep good company. Surround yourself with good people always. Good people are those who remind you of the Almighty Allah when you see them. And help each other. Good people are selfless and never selfish!
- Stay away from useless things on TV, mobile phones, or any form of electronic media!
- Keep your eyes, and ears open only to good things. And utter only good things otherwise keep your mouth shut!
- Do not be selfish. Don’t just care about yourself but care about your family members too. Inspire them especially your children to remain on the correct path even after Ramadan.
- Start with small things. Eventually, you will start doing bigger things for sure in sha Allah (Almighty Allah willing)!
