Valid question, right?
Yes, everyone out there is trying to earn money because without money, one cannot live, right? However, some people earn more, some less, and some earn nothing at all. But there is one thing everyone forgets. It is the Almighty who takes care of everyone, including human beings, animals, birds, insects, reptiles, and every other living thing in this whole universe.
Fine, fine, I know not everyone out there believes in God. But even the most rigid atheist has to agree that there is some unseen power that is controlling this entire universe. You can call that power the Almighty, God, Creator, etc. Oh, come on, this article is about earning money, right?
Yes, I’m coming over there right now. We all want to earn money. But we are very avid students of the formula, ‘minimal input, maximum output’! Everyone, including corporations, believes 100% in this dictum. Trust me, the truth is very harsh, as all of you out there might certainly agree!
So, what exactly do I need to earn money?
Well, the answer is pretty simple, as all of you are already clearly aware of. One needs to create a difference in people’s lives, fulfill their needs, and be of some use to them. Of course, by people, I am also including their surrounding nature, the innumerable living creatures, and, in general, the environment itself.
As simple as that, trust me. But I know it is not so easy! What, with all the buzz about the entrepreneurial bug biting nearly every person on this planet of ours! I am just kidding. Of course, all of you will agree that there has never been a better time for entrepreneurship.
Even if you are not an entrepreneur, you will be working for someone to earn money. However, whether you are an entrepreneur yourself or you work for one, give your best. And see your bank balance swell! Provided you put in the right efforts.
But what about the new-age jobs to earn money?
Or are they jobs? I am referring to the vast majority of people who aspire to be freelancers, content creators, entertainers, and so on. Even for them, the mantra is simple – create and post useful content. Content that the people like, entertains them, and keeps them glued to their screens!
Even here, unless you are exceptional, it is always better to collaborate with others. At least initially! I have personally seen this with content creators from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India on YouTube. Prashu, Dharani, Nawaz, Arshad Hussain, and several others. Among these, Prashu has the largest subscriber base. And he charges a ‘bomb’ for promotions!
Prashu is originally from Madanapalli. He came to Anantapur to do his M.Tech. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). What started as a small hobby/side-hustle of creating YouTube content has become his sole focus in life now.
However, what was started by one person has been taken up by several people close to that person. What I am trying to say here is that initially, Prashu started his WhatsApp channel. His friends, whom I mentioned earlier, helped him create videos by appearing in them and shooting them. Slowly, even the others started their WhatsApp channels, and their subscriber base is growing by the day, earning them money. It is a win-win situation for all!
I first realized the importance of collaboration in the USA
My younger brother, Dr. Javeed Shaikh Mohammed, helped me realize the importance of cooperation in research. Those who collaborated more published more papers, earned more citations, and ultimately gained greater and faster success than those who did not collaborate so much!
The same with anything else in life – whether you are running your startup, working in a company, or doing anything else. Just like the right location for a physical/offline business, the right connections/partnerships, the right pricing, in short, the right everything is important. Of course, by right, I am not saying the exact ‘right’ right. But ‘right’ to the extent possible.
Get out among the people to find out what they need. Fulfill their needs most affordably. And do not forget great service and excellent customer care. Because the customer is king and s/he is always right. Keep your customers happy, and success is all yours! Good luck hunting for money. Fame and success will certainly follow if you have the right intentions and provide the best products and services in whatever you do.
