Let’s face it – You need to earn money to live, right?
Life is not always the same. It has its ups and downs. It all appears very easy when one has a secure job with an assured paycheck at the end of every month. However, once someone loses a job, then what? If one has an assured income stream/s by then, there is no problem. But what if it isn’t so? Then the eternal war between expenditure and income starts. And it seems to have no end at all.
So, which is better? A secure job or a jobless life with freedom to do whatever one wants. In today’s world, where everything seems to be invaded by artificial intelligence (AI), nearly every job seems to be at risk of extinction. And trust me, no one is immune to it. In such an uncertain period, it always pays to remain vigilant and open to opportunities from the beginning of one’s career.
Whether one wants to work for someone or for oneself is entirely up to that person!
Ultimately, the bottom line in anyone’s life is earning money. Of course, other things definitely matter. One always does what is closest to their hearts. It might be some passion. But whatever it is, one needs to earn money to live. And feed one’s family that is dependent on that person. So, one should never waste time. As one ages, there seems to be a real dearth of opportunities. Is it so?
I don’t think so. There are innumerable examples of people who started late in life and became lucky. But not everyone is! Of course, for a believer in the Almighty who guarantees one’s rizq (sustenance), it might seem a bit easy. But as time passes, even the toughest believer might start to feel a bit worried!
So, what should one do in Life?
The best time to start anything is now, or even better, right away! Put all the demons of doubt away. And start. But is it so easy? Absolutely not! However, it is not impossible. First of all, enrich yourself with the latest knowledge and skills. Do not let go of even a small opportunity. Have a good friend/relative or a group of friends/relatives.
Another sad fact is that sometimes even friends/relatives are fickle and unreachable. Over time, in life, everything seems to be getting mechanical. Including real friendship! One thing one should never forget is that one comes alone in this world. And leaves it alone.
Self-reliance is always best in Life PERIOD.
So, forget about depending upon others. The best people are those who help themselves. Once one starts something, the right people will come anyway. It is the rule of life. So, what are you waiting for?
Go ahead and do what you want in your life. Without giving a damn! Okay?
